Is November 9 a Public Holiday in Pakistan?

Yes, November 9 is officially observed as Iqbal Day in Pakistan to honor the birth anniversary of the country’s national poet, Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

Under the federal holiday calendar issued by the Cabinet Division, November 9 is a gazetted public holiday. Educational institutions, government offices, commercial banks, and private sector firms across Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Islamabad Capital Territory will remain closed.

3-Day Long Weekend Advantage
