Nazar, The Taste of Istanbul, is truly a gem in Islamabad. It’s a one-of-a-kind Turkish restaurant that I’ve come to love. I recently tried their Turkish Lamb Doner Box for 2, and it was fantastic. The portion size was generous, and the flavors were spot on. The service was excellent. Price-wise, it’s quite reasonable for the quality and quantity you receive. If you’re in Islamabad and craving authentic Turkish cuisine, Nazar is the place to be!
Overall it was very good experience. We ordered Chicken Pide and Adana Box, the quantity and quality of food was good and served on time. Ambiance was better and they have small sitting capacity. The price of Chicken Pide is Rs:1199/-, and Adana Box price is Rs:899/-Overall Recommended.
Today I visit nazarr restaurant and it's Turkish cuisine I ordered chicken platter and Adana durum it's very impressive food taste and quality is very good and the price worth the taste Adana durum is so juicy and delicious. Highly recommendService 4Atmosphere 3Food 4
Nice cozy little Turkish restaurant in the basement, though the food taste needs some improvement to become closer to Turkish food. Parking will be an issue as this is a an extremely busy food street type of area. I would give 3.5 Stars for Food, 4 Stars for Value for Money, 5 stars for service, 3 stars for ambience. Here is a little more detail:FOOD: Ordered the Deal for 2. We got one chicken Döner and Paid 300 extra to change the second Döner to Adana. The size of the Döner was pretty good, however the spices were considerably high. The Adana Döner did not taste very well either and had an over cooked and very dry feeling. The deal came with Kunafa which was just Ok and not anywhere remotely close to authentic Kunafa. Fries were plenty and nice. The food was a lot for two people and maybe can be shared by 3 people if they eat light. Packaging was also very nice for all items. We also ordered Cheese Pride on the side which somehow had a tomato sauce on it which was not what we were expecting. A lot of effort needed to improve.AMBIENCE: The place seems pretty cramped and it has the open kitchen including Oven, Shwarma Grill, and Salad Bar. Yet it also has 3 tables that can accommodate a total of 10 people inside and maybe 2 more in the walkway outside the restaurant. I would prefer take away in such setting.STAFF: Really nice people running this place. They did not misunderstood or miss any item in the takeaway order. They were humble and helpful in providing us with the order and double checked all items. Also they bake their own bread for Döner which seemed nice.
Its a small eatery but ambiance and staff is cooperative, we already had dinner and went over there foe the desert and we ordered one kunafa, which they made it freshly, taste was good with lots of cream and chese. Good amount of pistachio chunks serving quantity was slightly better than others.Though they haven't mold the vermicelli. Doesn't make much of a difference and it was crispy.
