The Tulip Riverside Hotel was constructed in 2003 in the Gujrat district of Sarai Alamgir. But it is only a few kilometres away from Jhelum, making it quite close. On GT Road, between the bridge that connects Jhelum and Sarai Alamgir, it is perfectly situated. A huge number of guests from both inside and outside the country have been graciously hosted by a highly skilled and professional crew. The management respects regional customs while also being aware of contemporary needs.

My sister's wedding ceremony was held here recently and it was a terrible experience and the worst decision we could have made. Food was of the lowest quality and everyone abandoned their plates after a few bites. The roast was dry and tasteless (tasted old and stale), biryani looked and tasted more like khichdi, and even the gajrela was bad - overall the entire meal was a huge disappointment. The staff was untrained - they hovered by our tables the entire time and wouldn't stop asking us and our guests for money. We paid huge amounts of money for bad service, bad food, and an awful experience.The #1 biggest disappointment is that the Bridal Room is in the Hotel in the next building. What kind of wedding venue doesn't have facilities for the Bridal Room next to the wedding hall??????? We had to walk back and forth between the 2 buildings so many times and dealt with so much confusion during the nikkah because the bridal room was far.I would NEVER recommend this venue for a wedding or any other event. If you go with Tulip for your wedding, you're going to have to deal with every guest complaining about the bad food and service, and you're going to tire yourself out walking back and forth between the hotel and marquee. Save yourself the headache and regrets and have your wedding event somewhere else.

Very, very basic accommodation. Needs major refurbishment. Had to stay here as no other real choice in jhelum.

The seekh kebabs were good , the chicken curry we had was poor was expecting a lot more , after a long drive back from Lahore and very hungry actually left half the curry uneaten, ordered a burger for one the kids which looked very skinny as well the only good was service and very clean environment and the Kebabs
